NORTH and southbound carriageways of the A1(M) between junctions two (Welham Green) and four (WGC) will be closed tonight (Friday) and tomorrow night (Saturday).
The motorway will be closed as maintenance work is carried out in the Hatfield Tunnel.
The junction three (Hatfield) entry slip road and the junction four southbound entry slip road will also be closed.
The closures will be in place from 11pm Friday to 5am Saturday, and again from 10pm Saturday to 5am Sunday.
A diversion route will take road users on the A1001 to rejoin the A1(M) at junction two for southbound traffic and junction four for northbound traffic.
