With Welwyn Hatfield already sodden after weeks of exceptionally wet weather, yet more heavy rain is likely over coming days.
The swollen rivers Lea, Colne and Mimram will have to cope with even more water tomorrow, as the Met Office predicts heavy showers.
Although a dry spell is likely from Wednesday night to Friday, forecasters say it will be followed by another deluge on Saturday.
