Thanks to striking tube train drivers, overground services from Welwyn Garden City have been diverted from Moorgate to King’s Cross.
As Transport for London staff are staging a 24-hour strike over ticket office closures, Govia Great Northern trains are currently continuing to King’s Cross from Finsbury Park, rather than calling at Drayton Park, Highbury & Islington, Essex Road, and Old Street before terminating at Moorgate.
A company spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times that passengers who usually return from any of the affected stations should use King’s Cross until midnight tonight, but the usual service should resume tomorrow.
