Two swans caused delays this afternoon in Welwyn Garden City while taking a ‘brisk walk down the main road’.
Steve Penstone-smith, from Welwyn Garden City, told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “There is a huge tail back in Stanborough as two swans have decided that the water in Stanborough Lakes is far too cold and are now warming up with a brisk walk down the main road.”
The swans were spotted heading towards the fishing boat roundabout.
Steve said: “The rather large birds can be very dangerous due to their ‘fowl’ attitudes.”
