MORE than 1,100 drivers were caught speeding through Hatfield Tunnel in just two months, new figures have revealed.
The 40mph average speed cameras were installed on the stretch of the A1(M) while two years of redevelopment work is carried out.
In September 471 drivers were clocked above the limit, which rose to 642 in October.
