TICKETS for the fireworks extravaganza at Hatfield House on November 5 are now on sale.
Mayor Kim Langley, brainchild of the event to bring a public display back to Welwyn Hatfield, joined dignitaries for the official launch on Monday.
She aims to get the entire community involved, thanking Hatfield House, the WHT and the countless people and organisations already offering support including the scouts, QE2 rugby team, John Lewis and Sainsbury.
Mayor Langley said: "So many people I've spoken to are thrilled there will be fireworks in the borough this year.

"The other day, while out walking my dog, a woman ran out of her house in her dressing gown to embrace me.
"She said few words, just 'thank you for the fireworks', before she hot-tailed it back inside.
