How it will look

A WATER company is moving from its landmark offices to a new home on Hatfield Business Park.

Three Valleys Water staff are due to leave their Bishops Rise offices in May 2009.

A spokeswoman said: "Three Valleys Water is having a new head office constructed on the Hatfield Business Park which will bring together employees from our two largest existing sites in Hatfield and Watford.

"This will allow Three Valleys Water to continue to have its head office in Hatfield which is well positioned to serve our customer base.

"The benefits will be that the majority of our employees will operate from a single-site which is being constructed and equipped with the necessary internal infrastructure to meet the future needs of our business and our customers."

It is not as yet clear what will happen to the current site.

Resident Dave Quilter, whose home in Haseldine Meadows backs on to the Bishops Rise site, said he was concerned a block of flats would soon be constructed blocking his family's view.

The Three Valleys spokeswoman added: "Plans for the future of the site at Bishops Rise, Hatfield, are currently being drawn up.

"Part of the site is used for operational purposes and we will need to ensure that this continues.
