TRAFFIC is building up along the A1(M) this morning (Friday) following an earlier car accident.
At 8.40am, three cars collided on the northbound carriageway between junction six for Welwyn and junction seven for Stevenage blocking one lane.
A white Renault Kangoo van, a white Mercedes Sprinter van and a black Seat Altea were involved in the collision,
One man was treated at the scene by paramedics, but did not need hospital treatment.
Recovery is on the scene, and the road is expected to fully reopen shortly.
