Three bicycles destroyed in arson attacks in the same Welwyn Garden City street

Three bikes were set alight in two separate arson attacks that police believe are linked.
Now officers are appealing for witnesses in a bid to track down the arsonists who struck in Regent Court between 8am on September 26 and 1pm on September 28 and then on October 3 between 10pm and 11pm.
Two bikes that were locked to metal gates were destroyed in the first attack, while a bike secured to railings was targeted in the more recent arson.
PC Emily Martin said: “These incidents are being linked and I would appeal to anyone who may have any information about either crime to contact me.
“I would also ask residents in the area to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.”
