Three arrests over ‘massive fight’ in Welwyn Garden City

Three teenagers are currently in custody in connection with a fight that happened in Welwyn Garden City on Monday.

A police spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “Yesterday, we arrested three people in connection with this incident on suspicion of violent disorder.

“They are an 18-year-old man from Welwyn Garden City and two 17-year-old men from Birmingham.

“They all remain in police custody at this time.”

Police were called to the fight at 4.55pm on Monday, November 6, in Howardsgate.

One shocked eyewitness told the Welwyn Hatfield Times that there was a group of about 20 young men involved at the start.

The eyewitness described it as a “massive fight”.
