Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a blaze at a Hatfield community centre.

The trio, all from Hatfield, were released on bail until July 16.

They were arrested following a fire at Briars Pavilion, in Briars Lane, on Sunday night.

The adjoining Roe Hill Hall was also damaged in the fire.

A police spokesman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “We’ve made three arrests in connection with this incidents.”

One of the suspects is 24, while officers also arrested two 16 year olds.

All were arrested on suspicion of arson.
