Thousands respond to Welwyn Hatfield Council garden waste survey

More than 3,000 people across Welwyn Hatfield have had their say about a council plan to charge to collect garden waste.
According to the borough council, 3,025 people had responded to its consultation by this morning.
The consultation, which expires on November 28, asks people in Welwyn Hatfield how much they would be prepared to pay for garden waste collections, or whether they think the service should be ended.
