A week-long event hosted by Sport England returns to Welwyn Hatfield this June.
The This Girl Can campaign, aiming to inspire women and girls to get involved in sports, is calling on local sports clubs and organisations to get involved by planning activity sessions.
Entering its sixth year, the campaign is running from June 14-20 and has been celebrated by Milan Johnston, sports partnership officer at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, as “a great opportunity to get more women in the area involved in sport and physical activity".
Local organisations who want to be involved can complete the form on https://one.welhat.gov.uk/ThisGirlCan and email it to sport@welhat.gov.uk.
Those submitting an activity will be entered into a prize draw to win £250 for their club to use on women and girls’ activities. Full terms and conditions can be found on the website.
