Police are investigating thefts from cars in Welwyn Garden City


Police are linking a series of thefts from cars in residential Welwyn Garden City streets.

Thieves stole valuable items such as sat navs, headphones, jewellery and an iPod from seven vehicles on the night of Tuesday, December 23.

They targeted cars parked in Broomhills, Daniells, Westly Wood, New Wood and Bakers Grove.

PC James Tassell said: “It is unclear at this stage as to how each of the vehicles were broken into and I would appeal to anyone who was in these roads that night to please contact me if you saw anything suspicious.”
