THIEVES stole lead sheets from the roof of a primary school in an overnight raid in Potters Bar.
The crooks gained access to the roof of Cranborne Primary School in Laurel Fields before removing the lead, which currently fetches a high price in the metal markets.
After swiping the metal, the offenders left the school in an unknown direction by an unknown means, according to police.
The theft took place at some point between 6.20pm on Wednesday, March 17 and 8.30am on Thursday, March 18.
