THIEVES pinched lead from the top window covering of a house in The Broadway, Hatfield.
The theft took place between 5pm last Wednesday and 9am the next morning.
Pc Chris Brown said: ““I am appealing for anyone who lives in the area and saw any suspicious activity to contact me.
“This is a residential area in old Hatfield where someone may have seen individuals approach a house and remove the lead.
“If this is you or you have any other information about this crime, I would like to encourage you to get in touch.”
