CUNNING crooks pinched a car from an industrial estate – despite the fact that it was immobilised.
The thieves managed to remove the red L-reg Nissan Micra from Cranborne Road in Potters Bar even though the car’s head gasket had blown.
The theft took place between 6.30pm on Friday and 10am on Saturday.
A police spokeswoman said officers did not know how the offenders had been able to move the vehicle.
