CROOKS broke into and ransacked a car in Welwyn Garden City.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the theft in Haldens, which took place between 10pm and 11.15pm on May 23.
The raiders broke into the car – a silver Audi A6 – through one of the windows and swiped a black Callaway golf club bag, a number of golf clubs, a laptop, Ray Ban sunglasses and “a small amount” of cash.
Pc Paul Edmondson said: “I am appealing for anyone with information on this incident to contact us.
“It maybe that you saw someone acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
“Or perhaps you have been offered items for sale matching the descriptions of the stolen items.
“If so, I would very much like to hear from you.”
He added: “I would also like to take this opportunity to remind people never to leave valuables in cars unattended, as this could make them a target for opportunistic thieves.”
