THESE two cuties are two-year-olds Thumper and Floppy.

Both came into the RSPCA's care when their owner decided to move into a flat.

They are looking for one caring person to re-home them.

At first, rabbits are a novelty and constantly picked up and pulled around by their owner, then forgotten, ignored and neglected.

Often they arrive at Southridge in hutches far too small and in some cases are standing on inches of faeces and urine where their owners could not be bothered to clean them out.

They often suffer from eye infections, dental problems, urine scalds, psychological problems, skin problems, abscesses and overgrown nails.

Rabbits deserve far better, they are intelligent, sociable, and clean animals that can make lovely pets.

They need a good-sized warm and dry hutch.

If you can give Thumper and Floppy a home, call the centre on 0300 123 0704.
