Welwyn Garden City man Joseph Novelli, 22, and his band, The Sons of Pitches, are set to battle it out in the final of BBC hit The Naked Choir this evening.

The competition has been spread over six weeks, and the climax will be aired tonight at 9pm, on BBC Two.

The show is based on groups performing a cappella (without backing tracks or musical instruments), and after eight groups were whittled down to three, Joe’s band The Sons of Pitches will be hoping to go all the way.
