A man who lead a team to clear and chart the footpaths of Tewin has been awarded the third annual Tewin Society award.

Patrick Holden headed up a group of more than 50 people in the 1980s and 1990s who restored the pathways around the sleepy village and made a map.

He said: “Our village map is an exemplar for other community groups and has stood the test of time over several decades.”
