Teenagers arrested following Welwyn Garden City break-in

Two teenagers have been arrested following reports of a garage break-in in Welwyh Garden City.

It happened in the early hours of Friday, September 19, when police received reports of thieves forcing their way into a garage block in Haldens.

Police dogs helped officers scour the area.

Two men, aged 18 and 19, were arrested. The duo have since been released on bail.

Chief Inspector for Welwyn Hatfield, Adam Willmott said: “We have experienced a number of thefts from garages in the Welwyn Garden City area recently and are working hard to detect these.

“Whilst we have made arrests, we would ask people to continue to be vigilant and ensure they are keeping their garages and sheds secure.”
