A teenager was taken to hospital following a car crash in Hatfield.

The ambulance service was called to Mosquito Way at about 11.40am on Sunday, following reports that a car had collided with a wall.

The police and fire service were also called.

An ambulance spokesman said one crew and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene, where they treated a girl in her late teens for a leg injury and back pain.

She was then taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further treatment.
