Teenage twins in race for beauty queen title

TWIN sisters are fighting it out to become teen queens in a national competition.
Darcie and Bryony Richardson, 13, have both reached the second round of a beauty pageant – but with only two out of 50 getting through to the next round, they are appealing for votes.
Darcie said: “It would be really exciting getting this experience and doing something we have never done before.”
The pair, who have previously graced the catwalk for Monsoon, entered the competition, Teen Queen, when out on a school trip.
After making it through, they then had to have their pictures taken for the website and are now asking people to vote.
Bryony, of Holloways Lane, Welham Green, said: “I would love to be a model.
“I find it really fun having my photo taken.
“I would also like to do catwalks as well.”
If they are lucky enough to become finalists, the girls will get the chance to compete for some amazing prizes, including free clothes and international travel.
But the twins, who are both keen dancers, hope to see the competition through as a pair.
Their mum, Samantha Richardson, said: “It would be lovely if they could experience all this together.”
