Teen taken to hospital after crash near Hatfield Tesco

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital this morning, Friday, following a crash close to the Tesco in Hatfield.

Paramedics rushed to Great North Road shortly after 6am.

It is not thought the patient was seriously injured.

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The patient was slightly injured and following treatment at the scene by paramedics, he was taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further care.”
