A TEENAGER riding a scooter was injured after a collision with a HGV lorry.

The boy, believed to be 17, suffered head injuries after the crash on Tuesday in Potters Bar.

An ambulance crew attended the scene on Southgate Road just before 12.45pm.

Potters Bar based paramedic Adam Pitcairn who attended said: "The man sustained a head injury following the collision.

"He required stabilisation and treatment on the road before being conveyed to Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield."

His current condition is unknown.
