TEAMS are gearing up to take part in a 17th annual sponsored swim on Saturday.
Brookmans Park Rotary Club is hosting the event in which teams of five swimmers complete as many lengths as possible in 20 minutes.
Last year's event raised more than �5,000 and it is hoped this year's will be just as successful, this time raising cash for Mercy Ships and the Alzheimer's Society.
The event takes place from 5.30pm at the Furzefield Centre in Mutton Lane, Potters Bar.
