Team set to complete challenge to help homeless people in Hertfordshire

Volunteers for a Herts charity will be climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours.

Eleven members of Herts Young Homeless hope to raise £2,000 doing the Three Peaks challenge next month.

HYH helps young people face the realities of homelessness, as well as offering advice and support and will use the money to fund its education service that teaches conflict resolution and helps people consider the process of leaving home.

Emma Wilson, a marketing assistant for HYH, is looking forward to the challenge.

She said: “We are all really excited to complete the Three Peaks. Thank you for all of the support and sponsorship so far. Follow us on Twitter to find out if we make it.”

The challenge will start on Friday, June 12.

To sponsor them, visit the Virgin Money Giving site and search for ‘HYH three peaks challenge’. To find out more, go to www.hyh.org.uk
