DO you fancy your chances in a game of pool against some of the world's greatest players?

Well it could be your lucky day this weekend, as a former world champion and his fellow professionals have challenged the people of Times Territory to give them a match at the Galleria, in Hatfield.

Carl 'Houdini' Morris, who is profoundly deaf, and his tour mates will be on the upper level of the outlet centre between 10am and 6pm today (Saturday) and 11am to 5pm tomorrow (Sunday).

Each challenge has a minimum donation of £5 for the Hearings Dogs for Deaf People.

Charity spokeswoman Jenny Moir said: "Nearly nine million of the UK's population experience some degree of hearing loss - that's one-seventh of us.

"Over 650,000 of these people are severely or profoundly deaf and could benefit from a hearing dog."

At the stall, simply make your donation and enter your name onto the list, and when your name is called, you're next!

However, if the queue is looking long then challengers are welcome to continue with their shopping, safe in the knowledge that their place is reserved.

There is also the option to purchase tickets at £2 a piece to enter a prize draw to win a pool table.

All those who beat the pros will also be automatically put through to the prize draw.
