Suspended sentence for man who trespassed at Gosling Sports Centre

A 38-YEAR-OLD man has been given a suspended jail sentence for trespassing in the Gosling Sport Centre, Welwyn Garden City.

Andrew Scargill, of Wellcroft Road, Welwyn Garden City, admitted entering the Collingwood Suite at the leisure centre with intent to steal on February 27.

Magistrates in St Albans handed Scargill a 16 week jail sentence, suspended for two years, and ordered him to pay £165 in costs.

He was also given a two year drug rehabilitation requirement
