AN anonymous letter writer who wrote to police after a fatal road accident is being asked to get back in touch.
Hatfield businessman Kenneth Lush died in a suspected hit-and-run on the A414 between Hatfield and Hertford on May 13.
After a police appeal a mystery witness wrote to police.
Detective constable Dee Rayner from the crash investigation unit said: "I would like to be put in contact with this person as soon as possible to help us with our investigation.
"I would appeal to them to contact me directly or, if anyone thinks they know then identity of this person, to also get in touch."
