A student at Hatfield’s University of Hertfordshire has died, apparently from self-inflicted injuries.
A 19-year-old student died in Stevenage’s Lister Hospital yesterday, after injuring himself outside on the de Havilland Campus at about 2.15am.
A police spokesman said: “Police were contacted by security staff at the University of Hertfordshire following an incident in which a 19-year-old student had self-harmed, causing himself significant injuries. The man was taken by ambulance to the Lister Hospital where he sadly died as a result of his injuries. The incident is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
