MYSTERY intruders have been entering stables and stealing items of seemingly low value.
Pcso Louise Luxford has warned Brookmans Park villagers to be on guard after stables were broken into.
She said: “Only two stables have had things taken: two worn-out batteries, an old wheelbarrow and some old lead ropes, nothing of any real value.
“It is a bit of mystery why this is happening and I ask that you keep a look out and report anything you feel is suspicious.”
Another Pcso, Sam Griffin, has called for residents to join in with a new ‘horse watch’ scheme.
