TICKETS are still on sale for a quiz night hosted by the Welwyn Hatfield Times’ news editor in aid of the Isabel Hospice.
The evening will be held next Friday, July 5, at Campus West in WGC.
Dave is part of an 18-strong team who will be trekking to Everest Base Camp in aid of the hospice.
He has set a £5,000 sponsorship target, and hopes the event can boost his fundraising.
The night, which starts at 7.30pm, will include a fish and chips or chicken and chips supper.
Tickets cost £12 per person, and teams can include up to six members.
They need to be booked in advance.
Dave said: “It’s shaping up to be a great event, and I’m really hoping for a good turnout.
“It’s a fantastic cause, and I really hope we get lots of support.
“Obviously the winners will get the added glory of being photographed in the WHT.”
