A STATUE has been pinched from outside a house in Hatfield.

Police have released a photo of an identical statue in a bid to trace the one stolen from the driveway of a home in Mount Pleasant Close.

The theft took place between 10pm on Wednesday, September 28 and 10.20am on Thursday, September 29.

Christina Roney, from Hertfordshire Constabulary’s crime services team, said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened or who has any information about where the statue may be to contact police.”

Call police on the non-emergency number 101.
