CINEMA staff boldly went were no cinema staff had gone before on Saturday.
For they dressed up as Captain Kirk, Spock et al to mark the opening of the new Star Trek movie.
Margaret Sear, manager at the Odeon cinema, in Hatfield's Galleria, said customers were "bowled over" by the stunt.
She thanked Tashes N Tails, a costume and fancy dress shop based in Hatfield town centre, which supplied the outfits, and volunteers from the St John's Youth Centre, who helped with the face artwork.
