A NEW youth centre in Hatfield is set to be given the go ahead, following the success of a similar scheme in WGC.
Welwyn Hatfield Council is tonight (Tuesday) expected to approve the proposal to lease a disused shopping unit on the ground floor of Queensway House to the Central Herts YMCA.
Space Hatfield would become the second community project of its kind in Times Territory.
The first Space centre opened 15 months ago in Church Road, WGC, and now provides a seven-day programme of free activities.
