AN all-female alt rock trio who have supported British space rock legends Hawkwind are coming to WGC tomorrow (Friday).
Formed in the US in September 2006, Syren are Erin Bennett (vocals, guitar), Amanda (bass) and Joanne Heeley (drums).
The band, who are currently unsigned, released debut album Dehumanized in January 2008, before relocating permanently to the UK.
Subsequently the group, who list Pink Floyd, Rush, Kate Bush and Jeff Buckley among their influences, joined Hawkwind on their 2008 winter tour and they are now set to embark on a 10-date UK mini-tour which includes a stop in WGC.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets cost �5, available on the door or through City Sounds music shop, WGC.
