Soaring sounds as Black Poets take to Marquee stage

A BAND described as a cocktail of U2 and The Chameleons will be coming to Hertford this month.
Black Poets are Billy Randall (bass), Ben Muckenschnabl (drums), Gerard Lecain (guitar/vocals) and Stephen J Good (guitar).
Formed in Hackney in 2007, the four-piece list The Smiths and Joy Division among their influences and claim to blend 80s post-punk and new wave with Interpol-style vocals and soaring guitars.
They are set to release their debut album, entitled Innocents and Thieves, on June 15 and are touring the UK throughout May in support of the LP.

Dates in Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester will be followed by a night at The Hertford Marquee, on Wednesday, May 13.
They will be performing alongside With Love From Humans.
