SNOW is affecting major traffic routes this morning across the borough.
Latest information from Herts County Council is stating that all schools are expected to be open.
It statement reads: "Following the snow showers overnight and this morning it is expected that all schools will remain open, unless they have localised problems.
"So parents should assume that their child's school will be open unless they hear otherwise.
"Teachers are asked that if they are unable to get to their school, could they try to get to a nearer school.
"Gritters are dealing with all major routes.
