Snow is forecast for Welwyn Hatfield


It’s time to wrap up warm as Welwyn Hatfield residents face a chilly few days ahead with wintry weather returning to the area.

Between today (Thursday) and Monday, the Met Office expects temperatures to peak at a maximum of 6°C in Welwyn and Hatfield, with lows reaching freezing (0°C).

Hats, gloves and scarves won’t be enough at first, as showers are anticipated tomorrow morning, increasing in strength and duration on Saturday.

By Sunday, temperatures are likely to drop further with light snow reaching many areas on Monday.

The cold snap is likely to last for the next ten days, before changeable and unsettled weather sweeps in from the Atlantic.
