It was kicked in around 8.15pm on Tuesday, May 8, causing it to shatter.

The smashed panel is in the door leading from the railway station to the first floor of the shopping centre, which thousands of commuters pass through every day.

A police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are being carried out to trace the person responsible.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference B1/18/1678.”
