Silent walk in Welwyn Garden City

A silent peace walk is set to take place in Welwyn Garden City to show solidarity with people in war-torn countries.

People are encouraged to bring a candle, but no banners, for the walk between Campus West and Welwyn Garden City Quaker Meeting House, on Saturday, September 24, at 2pm.

The walk will be in total silence, and aims to emphasise the best way to solve conflict is dialogue. At the end there will be refreshments, music and readings.

Participants must fill out a health form prior to starting. Contact for details.
