A SIGNED photo of ex-Tottenham Hotspur star Glenn Hoddle was stolen in a raid in Northaw.

Police investigating the burglary in Church Lane appealed to the public to help find the rare autographed snap.

Crooks broke in to the rear of a property sometime between 10am on August 17 and 5.30pm the next day.

Once inside, the raiders ransacked several rooms in the house and stole “a number of items” including car keys and the signed photo.

The picture relates to Spurs’ 1981 FA Cup win and shows the ex-England boss wearing a flat cap.

The crooks fled in “an unknown direction” in a Volkswagen Up, which was parked outside.

Dc Mark Cotte, from the Local Crime Unit in Hatfield, said: “I’d like to speak to anyone who believes they may have been offered this photo recently. They may have information that can help our investigation.”

• Anyone with information should contact police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference B2/12/2950. Or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
