A MYSTERY blaze destroyed two sheds at a traveller site on Friday.
The fire took hold at around 5.45pm, on common land at the Holwell caravan site, off the A414 near Hatfield.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus as they battled the flames using hose reels.
A spokeswoman for the Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was "doubtful".

However, a police spokeswoman subsequently said the incident was not being treated as arson.
