MP Grant Shapps has slammed university bosses for what he has described as the "appalling" suffering of residents at the hands of university students in Hatfield.
He hit out after Professor Tim Wilson, the vice chancellor of the University of Hertfordshire, said he would not be able to meet him to discuss the situation until December.
Residents from a number of streets, including Horsa Gardens, Cunningham Avenue and Walker Grove have contacted Mr Shapps with a range of complaints, including late night shouting, swearing and loud music.
