All bus routes within Potters Bar are running today, despite another bus strike.

Services are severely disrupted in London as members of trade union Unite walk out over pay.

Metroline, which has a depot in High Street, is among the firms to have workers taking part in the strike.

But a spokesman at the Potters Bar site confirmed that all routes within the town are not affected – routes 84 and 242.

However routes taking commuters in and out of London are affected, and those travelling are advised to check if their bus is running.

Members of Unite are striking for the second time in a month because they want staff of all bus operators to have the same pay rate across the board.
