Callous thieves stole precious jewellery while burgling a property in Welwyn Garden City.
Items looted during the Broomhills raid included a large cream jewellery box, earrings, a necklace and bracelets. A grey recycled shopping bag and a pink purse were also taken.
A police spokeswoman confirmed enquiries were ongoing following the burglary between 12.30pm and 4.15pm on Saturday, September 16.
She also encouraged anyone with information to contact officers via non-emergency contact number 101, quoting crime reference B1/17/3770.
