A SECOND Tory councillor has taken the decision to resign from Welwyn Hatfield Council today (Wednesday).
According to Welwyn Hatfield Conservatives, Hatfield South member Richerd Hedges is standing down because he cannot balance his work and council commitments.
Mr Hedges was first elected to the borough council in May 2008.
A by-election for his vacant seat is also expected to take place in June.
