HERE is your chance to prove you and your friends are the brains of Welwyn Hatfield.
Welwyn Hatfield Times news editor Dave Burke is organising a quiz night at Campus West, WGC, on Friday, July 5.
Dave, who is fundraising for the Isabel Hospice, will be part of an 18-strong team trekking to Everest Base Camp in November.
He has set a £5,000 sponsorship target, and hopes the event can boost his fundraising.
The night will include a fish and chips or chicken and chips supper, and Steph Hughes - who is familiar to quiz fans at the White Horse in Welwyn - will be the quizmaster.
Tickets cost £12 per person, and teams can include up to six members.
Dave said: “The hospice is a fantastic charity, and over the last few weeks I’ve learned a lot about the work it does by writing a series of features.
“I really hope we get a good turnout. I’m organising a raffle as well, and it promises to be a great night.
“Obviously the winning team will get the added glory of being photographed in the WHT!”
